Running is my sanctuary—it’s the one part of my day that is truly mine. I am never more at home than when I’m in the mountains.

So when the opportunity arose to join the media team at GB Ultras, I jumped at the chance. The images I capture during a race are unique because I’ve been there, I’ve done it—in fact, I’m still doing it. I understand the highs and the lows of running ultras, the physical and mental battles, and the raw emotion of realizing you are just a tiny speck within a vast landscape.

That is the essence of what I strive to capture throughout race season—the grit, the determination, and the awe-inspiring connection between runner and terrain. Shooting images like these have captured the attention of brands as well, so you will see that addition of some more commercial images into this section, all while keeping the same overall feeling of freedom and a love of the outdoors.
